My task was to create a unified presentation that consisted of photos from a 50 year period, from before Pierre Trudeau to Justin Trudeau. To support the theme of “pulling back the curtains” the concept I developed was using pixelization to hide corners of the photo to make it look as though the photo, and the behind the scenes activity was being revealed through this presentation. Along with the photos there were portions of the presentation that did not have photos associated with them. For these portions I designed neutral slides to be shown on the screen.
The first event was a huge success and attended by about 400 people. I continue to work with Peter and his team to revise and improve upon the presentation.
Along with the photos there were a few portions of the presentation that did not have a photo associated with them. For these portions I needed to design Neutral Slides to be shown on the screen. I designed four different Neutral Slides. The first is a behind the scenes image of Peter on Camera which was pixelated as per the style already set with the photos. This was used as an Introduction and Conclusion Slide. The second slide had an old style video camera being created out of pixels. The third was for talking about the 9/11 attacks. Lastly the fourth image was of the Maple Leaf being created out of pixels for when Peter was talking about what it meant to be Canadian.
